Workshop with UTB Zlin

During the month of October we had a unique opportunity to conduct a 2-days long workshop with students of Footwear Design at the Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic.

We spent 2 lovely days talking about sustainability, materials, Indian cuisine and experimented a lot. Malai was subjected to many unorthodox techniques and we enjoyed seeing both failures as well as successes.

As an outcome of this engagement students presented accessories made from malai. Some of them are still work in progress and some already finished.

at Smetanaq studios in Prague, Czech Republic.
